A master of musical crossover (from classical to electronic), cellist Vincent Ségal takes us on a journey through Turkey. His guests are Derya Türkan and the languorous poetry of his kemençe, accompanied by Savaş Özkök on the kanun, whose powerful and sensitive voice recites the finest Sufi poems.
Rules, languages and postures fade into insignificance, as their improvisational talents mingle, erasing frontiers in a classical alchemy.
Vincent Ségal, cello
Derya Türkan, kemençe (a three-stringed violin-like instrument)
Savaş Özkök, kanun (zither)
