Why don’t they teach in school that the earth is flat? That it’s only 6,000 years old? What are the differences between opinions, beliefs and knowledge? These questions, among others, will be approached from the angle of relationships between epistemology and politics by comparing the current meanings of the word “science” and the cognitive platform common to all sciences like a “contract of employment” for the work undertaken today.
