Hugo Pratt, horizon lines

Temporary exhibition from the 7th of April 2018 to the 24th of March 2019

Delve into the world of Hugo Pratt, an artist who left a lasting mark on comic books by creating Corto Maltese – the romantic sailor and perfect embodiment of the anti-hero.

Just like Corto, Hugo led an eventful life, full of travel, reading and encounters. The exhibition themes are like ports of call in this wide-ranging, immersive, almost initiatory experience. From the “Great North” to the “Great Ocean”, this graphic literature, a window on the world, resonates with collection items displayed in the exhibition.

Based on an original concept developed by Cong and the Musée des Confluences.
In partnership with Arte, France Culture, Le Figaro Magazine and France 3 Auvergne Rhône Alpes.
