Decorated vase called "vase with flamingos"

Ageneau Patrick

This type of ceramic was decorated with boats, rows of birds or plants, which formed part of the iconography of rock paintings. They symbolically express the renewal of life following death. The well-ordered rows of birds are thought to symbolise human order dominating chaos, an essential condition for life in the beyond.
