Climate: from an individual approach to a society-wide project

Round table in French

Thursday 9 January | 7 pm

Politicians, scientists, media organisations, non-profits and companies: how to take action to face the climate emergency together? Following years of encouraging people to change individual social practices, how can we build a shared project, at all levels of society, which prioritises policies of mitigation and adaptation to climate change?

With Hervé Le Treut, climatologist, CNRS research director, director of the Institut Pierre-Simon Laplace and member of the French Academy of Sciences (Académie des sciences), Agathe Euzen, anthropologist, CNRS research director, deputy scientific director of the Ecology and Environment Institute (Institut Ecologie et Environnement), Christel Cournil, lecturer in public law, Jean-Baptiste Comby, sociologist, researcher at the CARISM and CENS, lecturer in information sciences and communication (to be confirmed).

Presented by journalist Frédéric Denhez (France Inter).

Meeting followed by a signing session in the museum shop.
